R-Fed blew his lead in the first set, failing in his attempt to serve for a 1-0 lead. That really gave Djokovic some extra confidence. He was clutch whenever there were break points against him.
One thing I noticed with Djokovic's strategy in the match was that he kept attacking Federer's backhand, and then all of a sudden a solid shot to Roger's forehand would often times result in an error. That was a similar pattern that Tipsarevic employed in that 5 set epic.
I actually found myself rooting for Federer- it was tough seeing a great champion being humbled like that. Roger played really well in the 3rd set, but a pair of untimely forehand errors, including one at match point, proved to be his demise.
It's going to be interesting to see how Djokovic will do against the equally red-hot Tsonga.
